An independent celebrant with a love for people, storytelling, and a sprinkling of sparkle.
Life has a funny way of putting you exactly where you need to be, and for me, that place is celebrancy. I’m a Mum of four, a total Labrador lover, and a big believer in celebrating life for all its magic. Whether it’s over a coffee or a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, I love hearing the stories that make people who they are.
I’m a Chartered Accountant by background—which might not be the first thing you associate with weddings or naming ceremonies! But my career has always been about building real relationships, making things happen smoothly, and holding an audience. I bring that same professional precision to your ceremony, ensuring every detail is “just right” while I focus on the heart of your story.

We’ll start with a complimentary, no-obligation chat—in person, online, or over the phone. It’s a chance for us to get to know each other and see if I’m the right celebrant to tell your story.

Deep dive & discovery
Once you’re booked in, we’ll have a longer conversation to really uncover your story. I’ll use a few gentle questionnaires to make sure we capture all the hopes, dreams, and “magic” you want for your day.

Crafting your unique script
I’ll weave everything we’ve discussed into a bespoke ceremony script. From here, we can have unlimited edits—I’ll keep refining the words until they feel exactly like you. No templates, just your voice.

Support & logistics
As we get closer to the day, I’ll be by your side to help with vow writing, choosing readings, or coordinating symbolic elements. I’ll also liaise with your venue and suppliers so you don’t have to worry about the “how.”
5.
Your ceremony, your way
On the big day, I’ll be there to deliver a warm, sincere, and professional ceremony that reflects you perfectly. Afterward, you’ll receive a beautiful digital keepsake copy of your script to cherish forever.

Questions & Answers
Is a Celebrant-led wedding ceremony legally binding?
Not currently in England. To make it official, you’ll just do a quick, basic registration at your local registry office. Your legal paperwork and your personalised wedding ceremony don’t need to happen on the same day.
What’s the difference between a Registrar and a Celebrant?
A Registrar works for the council, uses a strict legal template, and cannot include religious elements or un-licensed locations. A Celebrant writes a completely bespoke ceremony with no limits on your location, timing, or content.
Can we include religious, cultural, or symbolic elements?
Absolutely. There are no “must-haves” or “can’t-haves.” We can weave in hymns, prayers, or beautiful symbolic rituals like sand blending and handfasting. My ceremonies are proudly inclusive for everyone.
How long does a ceremony usually last?
Every service is unique, but as a general guide, I usually suggest aiming for around 30 minutes. This depends entirely on the readings, music, and symbolic elements you choose to include.
How far are you able to travel?
I am based near Milton Keynes (MK46) and include travel up to 50 miles from my home as standard. However, I love seeing new places and am very happy to travel further afield across the UK or abroad for destination ceremonies.
Do we get to approve the script beforehand?
Yes, completely. I draw out your unique story to write a completely bespoke script from scratch. I offer unlimited script edits, so we will tweak the words together until it feels exactly right to you.
